For the third time in total, the World Archery Championships will be held outdoors in Germany. After 1979 in Berlin and 2007 in Leipzig, the World Archery Championships will return to the German capital. Then about 600 athletes from almost 100 nations will step to the shooting line with the Olympic recurve bow as well as the non-Olympic compound bow.
